A cycle of songs for Soprano and Piano on the folk poetry

The cycle of four songs for soprano and piano was created in 2010. The author was inspired by the beauty of our Czech and Moravian folk poetry. This inspiration manifested itself in the compositional way of working; folk melody is associated with an uncomplicated piano composition. The composition won the 1st prize in the composition competition Tribune of Chamber Music Pilsen 2011.


The cycle contains four songs::


1. The sun darkened for me
2. Flowers
3. Son, son
4. I am you, my Jenicek


The sheet-music was published in print by Czech Radio in 2019.
